LTC Julia Johnson (CapstoneStaff@ndu.edu)

Lieutenant Colonel Julia Johnson commissioned as an Ordinance Officer from Officer Candidate School in 2007 after graduating from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

LTC Johnson assignments include Battalion Commander, 2nd Brigade Support Battalion, 7th Infantry Division (Multi-Domain Command - Pacific); G4 Supply & Service Chief, I Corps in JBLM, WA; Support Operations Officer, 2nd Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade and J4 Materiel Readiness Branch Chief, United States Forces Korea in Camp Humphreys, Korea; G4 Supply & Service Chief, III Corps, as well as Executive Officer, Regimental Support Squadron, 3rd Calvary Regiment, and Brigade S4, 36th Engineer Brigade in Fort Cavazos, TX; Battalion S3, 3rd Special Troop Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade in Fort Stewart, GA and in support of Operation Inherent Resolve; Company Commander, Bravo Company (Maintenance) and later Headquarters & Headquarters Company, 82nd Brigade Support Battalion, as well as Battalion S4, 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Liberty, NC; Aide-de-Camp to the 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command Commanding General in Camp Henry, Korea; Platoon Leader and Maintenance Control Officer, Bravo Company (Maintenance),194th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 501st Sustainment Brigade in Camp Humphreys, Korea.

She currently serves as a Deputy Director - OCONUS scheduling, CAPSTONE.

Her military education includes Joint and Combined Warfighting School (JPME-II), Command and General Staff College, Theater Sustainment Planner Course, Jumpmaster Course, Basic Airborne Course, Combine Logistics Officer Career Course, and Ordnance Officer Basic Course. She also has a Graduate Degree in Transportation and Logistics Management from American Military University.

LTC Johnson married her husband, Christian, in 2015, and they have two children.
