Lieutenant General (R) Dash Jamieson has 37 years of distinguished military service, having commanded units from the squadron level to a career culminating as the Director of the United States Air Force’s Intelligence Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Cyber Effects enterprise. A $72B entity with 73,000 personnel globally positioned, conducting global operations across the Department of Defense. She led units in Germany, Hawaii, Miami, Afghanistan, and Virginia and was the driving force behind building a cohesive team of the Air Forces’ intelligence and cyber forces into a single war fighting organization. Dash established a talent management framework for this enterprise to conduct intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and cyber operations, as well as expeditionary communications for the U.S. Government. She has been the senior Government representative to multiple Senate and House of Representatives committees, and routinely conducted press and public relations engagements.
Dash is a recognized expert on data management, cyber security, cloud technology, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and the role of these disciplines in both the government and private sector. She cultivated partnerships with Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and IBM leadership to leap ahead in the digital transformation. Dash’s extensive knowledge of disruptive technologies and international security expertise has enabled her to mentor, coach and inspire the next generation to embrace innovative solutions. She is both a published author and an often-requested public speaker.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University, and has a Master’s in Strategic Studies from the National Defense University in Washington DC and a Master’s in Aviation Management from Emery Riddle University, Daytona Beach Florida. Additionally, Dash attended Harvard University’s Senior Executive program in National and International Security, and George Washington University’s Elliot School Executive Course in National and International Security. She currently is on Board of Directors at Digital Realty Trust, ArQit Inc, and on the Board of Advisor’s for Beacon Global Strategies, LLC., and Primer Technologies Inc.
